McFarlane has had a lot of missteps while producing early figures but he also put out some truly unique ones, like Jack Frost here. A hulking, icy frost giant with dead trees growing out of his back as he towers over a small mountain village with an enormous tree-like club. The design is wild and the paint is colorful, a nice application of whites, blues and grays to bring out that frozen look.
