Captain Rex led the 501st Legion of clone troopers during the Clone Wars, serving under Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. A loyal leader, Rex earned the respect of his clone brethren and his Jedi commanders, and he returned the favor. When he learned of the plot to destroy the Jedi, he defied Order 66 and eventually joined the Rebel Alliance, fighting as a commander in the Alliance Special Forces.
