Widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, The Undertaker began his career in 1984 for World Class Championship Wrestling, did a brief stint in WCW in 1989, and moved to the WWF in 1990. He became one of the most prominent figures of the "Attitude Era", and is the company's most tenured performer. For 21 years he was undefeated at Wrestlemania, and is an eight-time world champion, and seven-time world tag-team champion. Four original match types were innovated specifically for The Undertaker (the Casket match, Buried Alive match, Hell in a Cell, and the Last Ride match). His larger-than-life character inspired a comic book series in 1999, and he's been described by IGN as "one of the most respected wrestlers--and characters--in the business; treated with actual reverence, like a cherished, invaluable artifact."
