Vile Volitions II Custom Contest
Shortpacking the bad guys in the last case shipment was the final straw. The villains of the toy world are done pretending that they're incompetent and aren't going to throw anymore fights just to make the heroes look good--they're banding together to take out the opposition once and for all! The object of this challenge is to create a custom figure of any evil character. The three most dastardly scoundrels will succeed in breaking into the First Bank of Figure Realm and make off with Captain Coder's prized gold, silver, and bronze trophies.

Cobra Commander, Cy-Kill, Darkseid, Darth Vader, Dr. Doom, Judge Death, Lord Zed, Malebolgia, Megatron, Mon*Star, Saw Boss, Sauron, Shredder, Skeletor, and Tex Hex are just a small sampling of the many fiendish rascals that you could potentially choose to make. It doesn't matter if they're cold-blooded killers, megalomaniacs bent on world domination, or just common thieves, sadistic rogues of all types are fair game.

Alternatively, you can also make an evil version of any good character. Turning heroes and heroines into heels can be something that actually happened, in-universe (like the time Hordak temporarily made He-Man into a rampaging monster by coating him with ooze from the Slime Pit), or it can just be your own original take on what you think an evil incarnation of the character would look like. If you elect to take this approach, don't forget to tell us, in your entry description, why your custom figure had a change of heart and has gone over to the Dark Side.

There are no size/scale limitations and you may use whatever parts, materials, and tools that you like to craft your diabolical custom creations.

Is there anything special we should include in the submission form? I don't see any difference in the link posted and the normal submission form link...maybe I'm just blind lol.

There's a drop down menu right at the top that asks which contest you're entering, it's the first box on the page.

If you want to make an original evil character, or a new villainous recruit for an existing band of felons, that's okay with me. All that's important is that they're a bad guy or gal.

Random idea you should have a Movie Master contest.

A movie contest, "From The Movies II", was one of the options in the poll in which this particular contest was selected. If you want to see a particular contest, then you should voice your opinion in the "Future Contest Ideas" or "Vote For The Next Custom Contest Theme" threads in the Figure Realm forums.

How "villain" do they have to be? Do anti-heroes and part-time villains count? Villains that eventually reform? Revolving door villains?

I wouldn't consider an anti-hero to be a villain, although I suppose it depends on your perspective (I.e., many in law enforcement would consider the Punisher to be just as bad as the criminals he exterminates). I guess the litmus test I would advise you to apply is to ask yourself, "Is the character that I'm considering making really a villain?" If your answer is "sorta" or "kind of" than it's probably not the best choice for a custom for this particular challenge. Also, remember that you can make your own villainous version of a character who normally isn't, so, you could push a fence-sitter across the line into full-on evil if you wanted to. Continuing with the Punisher example, you could give him an outlook on morality like Judge Death and have him killing everyone and anyone, in order to eradicate all crime forever.
