Hi guys, this is my first post for customs. This isn’t my first custom but it’s my first one that doesn’t have glaring issues otherwise hidden but carefully positioned clothing. I made a custom for DC’s The Question but it serves it’s purpose as a display piece only, one turn of the head, hands and feet make it a very flimsy figure.
Anyways for YEARS I have wondered why there has never been any decent Fifth Element merch. And then a few weeks ago I stumbled across a 1:6 scale Resident Evil Alice head. That was the priciest part of the whole project as the knock-off Milla’s just don’t look like her at all. But it was what I needed to start the project. It was the only one I could see listed online anywhere separate from the Resident Evil Hot Toys figure.
The outfit and body was unofficially premade by some wonderful stranger online who sells them at stupidly low prices. So all I needed to do was fix the hair situation. Thankfully the seller of the Alice head included an additional hair piece. I don’t know why. But thanks stranger! I was able to cut up pieces and with a little help from Milliput I was able to stick it on and then go crazy with the orange paint.
So happy with how this turned out. Somewhere down the line I may fork out for a seamless body, those joints are pretty annoying. But for the time being I’m happy.
Korben was a little more work. Got a knock-off John McClane head, some paint and broke a couple guns and that’s what I got. The clothing doesn’t match his exactly but it’s the best I could do. Someone online does make a custom Korben outfit but sells them for around $200USD which just wasn’t worth it for me. This does the job I think.
These two are my pride and joy but I would be willing to sell for the right amount… maybe. I don’t know. I can’t decide.
