This was a lot of fun! And a lot of hard work. I made the bodice(outfit from waist up) and the bracelets and tiara. The red part of the bodice is a re-worked Barbie as Elektra out fit that I more or less used for the fabric. The emblem was a challenge and is made to be like that of Lynda Carter's season 2 and 3 costume.
The tiara,belt,bracelets,and emblem were all made from a 4 way stretch material that is like spandex with the shinyness of laytex (Believe it or not the bodice is only 3 parts sewn together). At first I wanted to make the belt detachable(like on the original costume)but that went out the window after figuring out that I couldn't do that and make it look good...But theres a snap that attaches the lasso to the belt that I feel made up for this problem and it stays true to the original. The tiara has a "ruby" star glued into place.
The only orginal parts remaining are the boots and panties wich were partly re-sewn for a better over-all look. The gold cord lasso is very close to the original Mego one but it isn't the same.
