Okay so I've wanted an Edward Norton style Incredible Hulk since the movie first came out a decade ago. Well, now I finally have one!! And while yes there is an "official" one out there it's one of the worst figures ever. But It was a fine place to start. So I kept the super ripped and muscular torso of the Hulk movie figure and combined it with the body from the Avengers movie Hulk. So from the abs down he's a Ruffalo Hulk. I did have to shave the ribs and drill a new hole for the middle peg to get them to work but they fir great now. Arms - Nortons Hulk has really big ripped veiny arms. And while the arms that came attached to the torso would have looked right the articulation suuucked, and the Avengers arms were simply to puny. Fortunately, the monster Venom Baf came out and those arms are PERFECT. so I shaved the pegs to fit the sockets and ran tiny screws to keep them in place. Painting - I them primed the whole thing and gave it a base coat of a dark green. I then gave it alternating mist coats of a brighter and then slightly less dark greens until it had that natural flesh look. I gave it a matte coat to protect the paint, then gave it a wash using shoe polish to help brin out all the beautiful detail (a trick I learned from cosplay chris) and then gave it a second coat of matte spray to seal it all up. Now the real Incredible Hulk can take his spot in my Avengers display Recipe Head & Chest - legends Incredible Hulk movie Hulk Abs, Legs, & Hands - Legends Avengers Movie Hulk Arms - Monster Venom Baf ![]() |
