Haven’t posted a custom in a while, and since its Father’s Day Captain Picard Day, I figured this one would be appropriate: Captain Jean-Luc Picard as he appears in the 1996 highly acclaimed Star Trek First Contact. The film is easily one of the best Trek big screen outings, the best of the Next Generation tenure, and just an all around knockout genre picture, building off of a plot line from the TNG series, much like The Wrath of Khan in 1982 (another great Trek). This is a 3 and 3/4 kitbash based on a 2007 Luke Skywalker figure. The head is from a 1987 Galoob Picard figure, which is a remarkably good sculpt for the time in which it was produced. It’s not a perfect custom by any means, and in time I’ll probably improve on it, but for right now it’ll do.
