The Gror are a proud race of benevolent ape-men native to central and western Africa. They have long been at war with the Laibon, the dreaded Man-Lions of the Serengeti. They view humans like annoying little cousins. Get in their way and expect a nasty thumping. They are perhaps the only hope of salvation from the Laibon's continued brutalizing expansion.
