Hello Figurerealm, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again...
Been a long time, folks. Been a crazy couple of years, but starting to get back into the swing again.
I'm a big fan of Mezcos One:12 line, so I wanted to try my hand at one, and what better than my favorite character to custom. Before I get into the full recipe, I want to give much credit to the eBay seller gpslot. I bought the shirt, pants and trenchcoat from them, as well as the coat that joker is wearing. Without their awesome 1/12 scale clothing, I would not have been able to pull this one off. They seriously have some amazing stuff.
I got a cheap, used Egon body from eBay, stripped him down and added the shirt and pants. I cut out the bullet holes and such on the shirt, which was a learning process, and cost me one shirt. Ended up messing up the first, so swallowed my pride and bought a second. I cut strips of electrical tape and applied to the arms and midsection with glue, also to the right leg. I cut small pieces off of a round plastic cord for the buttons on the pants, and some yarn with some wash paint and glue for the midsection and right leg. Originally, I used the Egon boots, but they didn't quite look right, so I swapped them out with the Clown Prince Joker. They still fit his look, and his boots fit Draven so much better. The head was a mafex Superman from dawn of Justice, with a modified mezco neck, and sculpted hair. The crow and guitar came from fodder, with a bit of modding to the strap and peg hole for the birdie. From there, slapped on the awesome coat I got from gpslot, and badabing badaboom!
I have so much love for this character, and this movie, that I wanted to make the best crow I've ever done. This was also a personal project, so I took a few more risks than I normally would, but I'm really happy with the end result.
I'm slowly getting back into customizing, and I hope to be posting more over the next few months, but who knows?
