I've been a fan of Applessed since I found a random issue of the manga in a bookstore back when I was in middle school. Since then, I've been a fan of most of Masamune Shirow's work. I've considered doing these figures for a looong time, but it wasn't until the Civil Warrior figure came out that I saw the possibility of a base for Briareos. He was rather straightforward (other than the head) and Deunan took some serious modifications to the base figures to get the articulation that I wanted. Overall, I'm happy with the end result.
