This guy was a comission from a customer and I had a lot of fun making it forhr him. I was never a Superman fan but when he asked me to paint it black I was more than happy to do so. He also wanted me to give him a beard and I threw in the messy hair while I was at it. The base was a plain black flight stand that I customized to look like he's on a battlefield. I also took off that horrid cape he came with and gave him a nice satin wired one. I've made afew capes for Batman figures before but this was the first time using Satin and boy was it a pain. The amount of fraying is unreal. Next time I tackle a cape like this I'll use a different material like spandex or something thats easier to work with lol. I also gave him a magnet under his foot and on the base just to give him some stability on a shelf incase he isnt displayed in a flight pose.
