Evil Dead 2 is one of my favorite horror movies. I was so psyched when Mezco released their Ash, but I was a little disappointed in the articulation, especially in the arms.
I carefully stripped the shirt off, which was no easy task in itself. Popped off the waste down and with a bit of dremelling, transferred an articulated icons torso and arms. Cut down the heads and dremelled to fit the icons neck, and reworked the wrist pegs and hands to fit the icons arms. Love the articulated icons, but the wrist pegs are not great. So loose and floppy. I sanded a bit on the heads, made a mold for extra heads, and sculpted a bit to the hair. Cut the collar down on the shirt some to fit the look from the movie better, and painted the torso, arms and heads to color match better. I added some icons arms to the Netflix punisher torso, also. Again, I was bummed at the arm articulation, and the icons arms peg into the Mezco torso perfectly. I threw him in a couple of the pics since I didn't think just an arm transfer and a bit of paint were worthy of a full post, but thought some Mezco one 12 fans may like to know how well the icons arms go with the one 12s.
