So I was tasked with creating some Kryptonite spears from BVS for both 1/12 and 1/6 scale. I've never really done something like this before but I was pretty confident I could make it work so I began the process. It turned out to be a little more complicated than I thought lol but I like to think I managed it pretty well. I found these jewelry beads that looked like the right shape and glued those to the dowels. I used wires and sculpting clay to make the "basket" on the top where the spear tip sits. I knew just painting the spear tips wouldn't look right, so I wanted to make them out of resin. I had to make a mold which I'd never done before, but its pretty simple so I was able to do it. After casting them in translucent green, I brushed even more resin on top to give it that crystal/candy look. Then all I had to do was paint the staffs and glue on the resin tips. I made 6 in total.
