I started this quite a while back possibly 2 - 3 years ago. ( I really struggle to find time to work on figures) It’s my first try at a soft goods addition to a custom. The fabric is a kind of ‘Suede look’ - I only used it as I had it to hand. Man sewing is tough! Hats off to any of you guys who have had a crack at 1/12th clothing, it’s so fiddly!!!

I chose the buck as it’s the perfect scale for Rorschach. I didn’t do much to the body itself, removed the claws, swapped his shoes for the Spiderman 2 movie doc Ock shoes. The head is a cast I made up from a Toy Biz Urban Legends boxset Spiderman and a DC Classics Sandman. (hat)

Used Citadel paints.

Took me about a week to make the coat - very tricky to get it to fit in scale, I found I had to keep making it smaller. I wired the whole coat, round the base, the front collar and lapels. It’s a nice addition to add movement but did make the finish a bit more chunky. I have seen other customisers paint fabric - I would have liked to have had a go at that but I was worried about trashing the coat after all the work I’d put it.

If I was going to do it again I think I’d look for the perfect fabric. Also I would have liked to have added some buttons but I couldn’t find any small enough.
