Custom Mezco One:12 Justice League Superman.

I'm really starting to get into Mezco. I prefer a larger scale, but the figures (even the knock-offs like this one) are really good.

I painted musculature on the suit to mimic the chrome under-suit that Cavill wears to give a "man of Steel" look on screen. This really brought out the definition and made him look less like a "gorilla in pajamas" which is a criticism I've heard of some Mezco figures, lol. I also brightened up the blue and the S shield. Wired the cape as well.

The head is a cast of the Mezco head (the one that came with the KO figure had a really soft sculpt and I wanted one with more detail). I've got just about every iteration of Cavil as Superman in figure form and for my money this is the best sculpt out there. The KO, and even the legit Mezco version have paint jobs that are... lacking. I re-sculpted the hair to reflect the different styling of it in the JL movie (the CORRECT way for Superman's hair to look, if you ask me, lol) and painted the head as realistically as I could. Very happy with how this guy turned out. Thanks for looking!
