When I was a kid, the Last Son of Krypton was the real successor/reincarnation of Superman after his death, at least in my mind. The combination of a super rad costume + new hand shooty blasty powers was so good that it couldn't be true, unfortunately. The new costume was so good, though! I don't know why the DC folks never actually tried to make it the new Superman suit - minus the funky glasses and extended collar, of course.

My love for this look was never satisfied by toymakers, nobody ever delivered a genuinely good rendition of it. Then in comes Todd McFarlane with his perfect Superman figure. It turned out to be the perfect Eradicator, too.

Everything here but the head and S shield was repainted.
