“Han Solo? Ha, you don’t need that guy if I’m around."

I'm hoping we get a 6 inch Dash Rendar, but in the meantime I decided to make my own. Dash is one of my favorite characters, and I loved Shadows of the Empire. This was the first time I did any part swapping between different figure lines (in this case - Star Wars and Marvel). There was more part swapping on this than painting. I don't have experience painting joints and getting the paint to not rub off. The trick was to paint as little as possible. The only painting that was done was the upper body with a dark blue, that was a very close match to the legs. The chest armor covers a good portion of it anyway. I dry-brushed the same blue over the red lines on both sides of the legs. Lastly I added in the brown areas. I based his appearance off the N64/PC game. I gave him 2 blasters - the DL-44 Han blaster as Dash used that in the game, but also the gray blaster from Poe resembles the one Dash used in the comics. The only downside is the figure has a bit less range of movement in the arms due to the shoulder armor plates.

Upper chest armor and shoulder plates - Captain Phasma (after the armor was cracked open, I had to use my dremel and file the inside down so it would fit properly)
