This was a quick mod and kit bash. I modded the legs and added in a thigh swivel, made a minor mistake on the first leg so the swivel is somewhat curved - it's mostly aesthetic with minor rotation as it uses the peg already present in the thigh for the hip joint, which is offset.

After that I did some minor paint touch ups to his eyes; the standard eyes have too much of a "Raccoon" eye for me so I tightened up the whites of the mask closer to the eyes and I find this makes it look more like the traditional spawn face.

Next I ripped off the cape which leaves two nubs on the clavicles and one super duper large nub on the back. Important to be careful here so as to not rip the cape as they are glued in quite well!. I ground those down with a rotary tool and roughed in some basic musculature - the perfectionist way if I had been doing this for someone else would be to grind down just beneath the base of the figure then add some epoxy and sculpt from there but since I new it would be covered I just cleaned it up enough so when you see it you can't really tell. Because of the texture in his suit and that I didn't sculpt over those spots I used a blow torch lighter to go over the little burs of plastic/rubber and it cleaned that up and helped seal the exposed plastic. After that I did my best to match the suit colour which is a mixture of a greenish blue, grey and black - and the emblem was a bone colour from a warhammer paint (which matched quite well on it's own). I had to complete the "M" on his back as it's only partially painted/sculpted in.

After all that I grabbed some accessories from an older art of spawn statue/figure and used those accessories here - which scale pretty much perfectly! However I'm not super wild about all the guns, he does have some obscure looking weapons that are been too cartoony for my liking so when I find some more I'll throw those on.

Also debating on eventually putting in some magnets into his upper clavicle so that I can have magnetized skulls placed on at either side. I know some times he's been portrayed without the cape with the two chest skulls and sometimes without - would be nice to have the option and the magnets give you a bit more free - but that's for another day! Also debating on painting him entirely black - as this is definitely more of a blue/green but I do still like the colour.
