Amazo was an android built by Professor Ivo in his quest for immortality. Amazo can use absorption cell technology to replicate the powers of any person he encounters. So he's pretty much DC's Super Adaptoid, well, he does precede SA by six years. Since then he's gone on to be a thorn in the Justice League's side over the decades, even if he looks like Namor and Brobee had a child.

The nice thing about this commissioned figure was that he's made entirely from a Marvel Legends Gladiator figure with just the mohawk removed and a power ring sculpted on. The rest of the work was just trying to paint green stripes as straight as possible (thank, Ivo!). While the Mattel version isn't bad, Amazo is listed as being eight feet in height, so this version brings a little more height to the figure than the DCUC version.
