Loved the Birds of Prey Movie. So I decided to make Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Huntress. I heard someone say that MEWinstead looks a lot like young Sigourney Weaver and considering Weaver was a big action movie actress back in the day, finding action figures with her likeness should be easy. Was considering getting a NECA Ripley figure but then Hasbro, being the lifesaver that they are... Released a Dana Barrett figure from the Ghostbusters movie in their new Plasma line. So I used the head and the upper torso. Popped the diaphragm, removed the long skirt and switched the legs with a comic book Captain Marvel from Marvel Legends. Since Huntress is wearing a track pants, I thought the thick & muscular legs can be somewhat of an illusion. And then I sculpted the rest... Crossbow is from Lego. And it's all hand-painted.

I made Black Canary a couple of months ago, I'm glad that I have Huntress now! Time to make Renee Montoya someday. 😁
