Raymus Antilles was born on the planet Alderaan where he became a starship pilot and would serve the House of Organa under Senator Bail Organa. Antilles was present when Senator Organa helped Jedi Masters Obi-wan Kenobi and Yoda escape the Great Jedi Purge. Antilles would go on to serve Princess Leia Organa and helped break Imperial blockades to provide aid to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It was on one such mission above the planet Scarif that Antilles was given the plans to the Death Star which were transmitted to the Profundity from Rogue One from the planet below. Despite their corvette being damaged, the Tantive IV managed to escape into hyperspace just before Darth Vader could board. However, due to the damage the Empire were able to track the Tantive IV and eventually overtake the smaller ship. Once onboard, Lord Vader interrogated Captain Antilles about the whereabouts of the plans, but Antilles insisted the corvette was merely a consular ship, an insistence Captain Antilles would make until Vader choked the life from him and tossed his lifeless body aside. However, Antilles survived long enough to provide Princess Leia enough time to transmit the plans to her droid, which managed to escape to the planet Tatooine.

Contrary to what I believed, Antilles is a apparently a pretty common surname in a galaxy far, far away, and Raymus Antilles and Wedge Antilles are not related.

I had plans to make Antilles for a bit but the jacket was a hold up as it was a bit longer and more unique than most in my fodder (since Hasbro still hasn't made a safari jacket Wonder Man). But then through a bit of serendipity, the glasses I were using for a separate custom had broke, so I wound up ordering a random Harry Potter figure online for just the glasses, than set the figure aside. But I continued to work on Raymus, and then looking over at the Potter figure I realized that since that line is in a seven inch scale, the jacket he was wearing might be an option. So after really sanding off the collar, it looked like a pretty good option. I then sliced off a set of pockets from two Black Series Rebel Fleet Trooper vests and was really happy with the results. The rest of the figure is made from a modified Fleet Trooper upper torso, some Old Man Han legs and lower torso, Tobias Beckett arms, and a repainted Death Star Trooper head.

Thanks to Ollie's I was able to pickup a bunch of Rebel Fleet Troopers on the cheap and swapped out their heads and hands for a decent variety. And now they have a captain.
