The brother of the Straw Hat Captain and son of the Pirate King, Portgas D. Ace was an awesome character in One Piece. He could pretty much star in his own series with his background and story. I love how rich Oda makes his side characters, how each of them are their own main character in their own side story.

Anyway, I don't want to be harsh, but not a fan of the SH Figuarts Ace figure. Of course it comes down to mostly height and scale for me. Ace is taller than Luffy so had to make mine taller. I don't own the SH Figuarts version, but it looks to be almost the same height as their Luffy figure so it just wouldn't look right with my one. I actually completely remade this guy just because he's height wasn't right. I had him pretty much done but then after comparing him with my other figures, I dismantled him and started again. Happy with how he turned out.
