I love the overall look of the Superman Reborn Superman but also liked the cuffs from Superman Rebirth, so I decided to combine the two. The base figure is a Marvel Legends Bishop with a Marvel Legends Punisher head. Cape is from a Mcfarlane DC Multiverse Red Son Superman. Cleaned the old paint off with nail polish remover (did the same with Punishers 5 o'clock shadow), took the figure apart and sanded the whole body and dremeled the joints. I found an S I liked online, took it to photoshop, resized it to scale to the figures chest and printed it out on a durable paper so I can use it as a template and put the figure back together. Put apoxy on his chest, put the template down and carved out the S. Sculpted the collar, cuffs, belt and tops of the boots and sanded those down as well. Put down a base coat on everything and focused my painting on the S shield, cuffs and belt. Once that was done, I sprayed them with a gloss finish, to give it more of a metallic look. Painted the rest of the figure, giving it a wash and drybrushing and sprayed the rest of the body with a matte finish. Superglued the cape and he was ready to go. Check out my deviantart at RaverDan.
