I was attempting to dye this Drone to match the classic Xenomorph look. However the Rit Graphite Dye was expired or I didn't heat the water enough turning the pearly white figure a deep crimson. Luckily I own two of the last Alien toys produced under the Kenner branding, which matched my mistake perfectly.

After drying I applied a nice coat of Future floor polish aka clear acrylic to the dome and around his mouth to simulate drool.
