The base for this custom was a Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer Doctor Doom figure. I used part of a random Power Rangers figure's helmet to make the crest on the figure. The gas mask was made using the mask from a Valor vs Venom Ace helmet. The shoulder pad was from the wrist guards on a 12 inch Snake Eyes figure. The belt was taken from a Chap Mei Pirate figure. Black fabric and coaxial cable round out the costume. The sword was created from the axe weapon that came with the Doom figure and part of a missle from a Star Wars vehicle. The hoverdisc was made from the stand that came with Doom modified with rockets from a M.A.R.S. vehicle, part of a STAP model kit, and part of an old Starriors Speedtrap figure. Because the figure is molded in silver I painted it solid black and scratched the paint away giving it a worn appearance. The figure was then coated in clear coat to prevent chipping.
