Yes,yes I know its a little early for Christmas but here is my seasonal themed custom-Santa Joker. I know there is LOADS of Joker customs on here but this is my attempt and to make it a little different I have given him a Christmas theme.I have wanted to do this figure for AGES,once I got started it only took a few sessions to finish. I wanted to make my Joker creepy, with an old dirty,ill-fitting Santa outfit, and of course a sack of goodies that only a true homicidal maniac would enjoy. I think I have achieved what I had planned in my sad little mind- Recipe: Head-Street Fighter Adon-I picked up a couple of Street Fighter figures cheap recently and as soon as I saw the face I knew he had the potential for a Joker. His body is too big for the Joker in my opinion. I shaved down the hair style and moulded my own from Milliput-a Joker paint job and there you have it. Body, waist and thighs- ML Pyro. I wanted to make joker as thin as possible so I found a Pyro and he seemed the right sixeand shape. I removed the head and arms and the lower legs.Didn't bother painting as the Santa costume covers it up. Arms,costume- Movie Spiderman/Peter Parker. I had this figure for ages-its the one with the rubber set of clothes and masks from the first Spider man movie. I really wanted to use the costume and this project fit the bill. I wanted to make the costume look like it was too big for Jokers skinny frame so I stuffed a cotton wool ball to make a false stomach and due to the figures thin legs it was my intention to make the trousers look baggy-and I think it has turned out ok.Painted the costume red with Citadel paints and dirtied it up. The arms looked like the top is all wrinkled so they were a natural choice. They didn't fit on Pyro's shoulders too well to a added a bit of Milliput around the join. Although you can pose the figure to a degree he doesn't need to be super-poseable Hands-??????? a pair from my spares box lower legs and feet: Mr Fantastic. Santa sack-bit of felt I purchased in a craft store, cut to shape, glued with fabric glue, the very bottom is filled with cotton wool to give the impression that it is full and the weapons are just from my spares-they are a mixture of Spawn/Buffy,custom and knock off weapons, plus DCU Harley's mallet too.The sack is too heavy really so I have to prop Joker up but I didn't want to take out any of the weapons-I wanted it to look as over the top as possible. The other gun in /jokers hand is from the Batman Animated Harley Quinn with a paint job and seasonal message. The belt is from a Dragon 12" figure with a buckle made from plasticard and painted. Fur collar and trims are made from white pipe cleaners cut to shape and dirtied up. Santa Hat-my wife found a couple of little Santas for me so I cut the hats from them-I think they look really good-as it looks ridiculous on him but I think it adds to the overall look and personality of Joker. As you can see from the photos,I stuck the other on on the doll/bomb figure(from DC Direct Dark Knight figures)standing in front of poor old Bats. The trolly Bats is tied to is from McFarlanes Clown figure, also in the picture is DCU Harley Quinn. I hope you like him- I know its a bit early but Seasons Greetings to you all from myself and Joker!!! cheers ![]() |
