I had the desire to do a Batman custom and found this old 'The Batman' figure.

Due to the base figure, I wanted to make a battle suit for Batman. Inspiration mostly came from the "classic" comic armor-the more bulky, almost spacesuit looking style as opposed to the more modern, streamlined and more sci-fi style.

Not a terribly hard figure, I started by taking off the original figures cape. Just my thought that battle armor shouldn't have a cape. After that, I repainted the inside of the suit before reattached the backplate. A jetpack was added as well as an arm cannon and a hose was added connecting the cannon to the pack. In my head the cannon would fire a variety of different projectiles.

Afterwards the outside of the figure was repainted for the most part. I kept the original red on the figure just because I thought it made the armor look more intimidating.

Finally, the figure was sealed to protect the paint. A nice side effect of the seal was giving the head visor a kind of cloud, which gave the suit a look like there was actually air and breathing in it.
