The Arkham City Batman is one of my favorite Batman incarnations. It's the perfect blend of the comics, movies, and animated series. The Batsuit is intimidating, traditional, realistic, but not overly busy. Unfortunately, despite owning multiple figures from DC Direct/Collectibles and Mattel, I wasn't happy with them. So I made this custom.

I used the DC Collectibles Arkham City Series 4 Batman as a base. The DC Collectibles head's jaw was too thin and off-model. I swapped the head with the Mattel Arkham City one. I thinned out the ears and added some paint wash and highlights to bring out the details from the soft sculpt. I removed the plastic cape. I cut out the neck/collar part from another DC Collectibles Arkham Asylum figure's cape and sanded the edges. Finally, I made a custom cape using some shiny black fabric (although you can't tell from the photos; I should have used a flash in at least one photo).

I am very happy with this Batman figure now!
