This figure was made from a Spider-man origins Black costume Spidey, ML Deadpool (variant) head, and other figure odds & ends. This custom is based on the Marvel’s 90’s Age of Apocalypse character design of Deadpool as he is seen in the Age of Apocalypse crossover. On Marvel Universe Earth-295 designated “the Age of Apocalypse” Charles Xavier died before forming the X-men and in his stead the X-men were formed by Magneto, not before the mutant Apocalypse practically conquered the Earth. In this reality far gone is the gun happy merc with a mouth we all know. In his AOA place is a sadistic life-hating monster that believes all life should fall to ruin, which most likely how he got his name…Dead Man Wade.
Customizer side note: I’ve seen people make many a Deadpool, in many a costume but never seen anyone make his AOA counterpart…maybe because he only appeared in like 5 to 10 comic panels throughout the whole crossover.
