For a long time I considered Taxi Driver, the movie from the director Martin Scorsese, a great movie but something “too tough” to watch it more than a couple times. Now that I’m grown up, I realized that this movie is an absolute masterpiece and deserves to mbe watched more and more, by all audiences. This said, I strongly wanted a Travis Bickle figure in my collection. In my opinion, there are two possible variants of this character: the one with the military outfit and mohican hair, and the one with normal hair, tanktop and that cool mechanism that make the gun spring from the sleeve. I chose the mohican variant ‘cos that hair is sooo f. cool. I used a McFarlane new Riddler action figure, removed the head and replaced it with an ebay unpainted one. Modified a bit the jacket and repainted it with a different shade of green. Made the collar of a white shirt using epoxy resin and painted it. The patches are prints from real patches I found online.
