So I couldn’t wait to get my hands in one of these guys. I’m not even a big Jim Lee Fan but I HAD to try my hand at overhauling this figure. I work in fabric capes so this was a no brained to pop a wired cape onto the next McFarlane Superman. But that left the molded emblem a stock DC basic Superman S. So I sculpted a new shield, made a mold of it in place on the chest so I could cast it directly into place! A little bit of paint drops in the insets and we were looking pretty good!
