So, I don't have a whole lot of time to devote to customizing these days, but I've been wanting to try this since the first Mezco Conan was released. With it being so hard to come by, I couldn't bring myself to alter it too much when I got my grubby paws on it. When they put up the preorder for the new version, I started preparing for this. Of course, since Mezco can be a bit unpredictable with their release times, I had more than enough time to have things ready for when it arrived. I cut the belt from an old 2000x He-Man, made a claps for the back and used elastic nylon for the chest straps to be easily slipped on and off the Conan figure. Used a magnet and some more nylon for the scabbard on the back, some jewelry clasps and chains for the belt scabbard attachment, sculpted a gauntlet for the right wrist, a variety of McFarlane armor pieces, adjusted to easily fit on the shoulders and other wrist and painted the Conan hair when it finally arrived. I heated and peeled off the hair piece to paint, glued it back on when it was ready, and Conan quickly and easily became He-Man, soon after unboxing the big guy. I think that's everything.
