This is my first custom ever. This custom was inspired by StalkerBlade from "doomworld forums". When he showed that all of the armor of the Mcfarlane Doomguy could be easily removed, I had to make my own too. In this case, I wanted a bigger and bulkier Doomguy. After a lot of research, the Marvel Legends 80th Thor/Ragnarok was the body I was looking for.

This was very simple. You just need a lot of hot water or a heat gun. I had to remove a lot of plastic of the upper torso to make the armor fit perfectly, cut the "circle thingies" to give him a more natural look when I put the shirt, swapped the shins with the Mcfarlane one (which requires a bit of cutting to make his legs less long. Be careful, don't cut too much of it or the swap won't be stable), and use sticky tack for the head to make it fit.

Now, the part that takes the longest time is with the Mcfarlane figure. You gotta rip and tear the whole armor with so much heat. And do it carefully, because you could break it since it becomes all gummy. Especially with the upper armor. You gotta cut a lot from both the ML and the armor to make them fit well.

And this was the most annoying part for me: the hands. I researched everywhere to find a good set of articulated hands that fit this mold. An option might be a MOTU Masterverse one but I wasn't sure. They seemed long and thin. I might try them one day. So the hands I used are from the Transart Black Agent (Beast Wars Masterpiece Ravage). I'm sure there is a good set of hands out there for this bulky mold. If you know, tell me. You gotta use some tack in the hand holes too since the hands are very thin. But they hold the shotgun perfectly.

What was also annoying was finding the right green clothes. I had to rely on Aliexpress since it costs less for me than getting them from Ebay. I'm sure most of you won't have that shipping hell issue so you can do it easier than me. And wait less haha.

Again, this is my first custom and I know it can be improved. I am just glad to have my favourite design of Doomguy in my shelf. And anyone can do it. And once again, this was inspired by StalkerBlade from the "doomworld forums".
