I love that white Zuckuss repaint in the Vintage Collection Zuckuss/4-Lom 2 pack. But I hate that it was only offered at a couple of conventions and the figure by itself goes for about $75 on ebay. And then someone said, "why don't you re-paint a Legacy Zuckuss yourself?" Good idea. Excellent idea. And so I did.

Carefully, little by little, I tugged the original skirt from the waist, opened it up and traced the shape on a piece of drawer liner. I wanted the skirt a little bigger to wrap around the figure so I added some length to the template I had created. Used a little poster putty to keep in place on the small of his back and another little bit to keep it closed in front.

I used the "butter cream" color by ceramacoat for the body, head, and skirt. Ceramacoat Charcoal for the mouth piece, and a dark brown paint from a leather coloring kit I had for the chest piece. I opted to leave the breathing tubes, backpack, and the insides of the sleeves their original color.
