The Return was an awesome comic that they unfortunately didn't follow up on. But I remember people being really uppity about it. So, instead, they kept the tone, ignored it, and put out a new sequel comic called Dogs of War. Everyone was older, a new threat has arrived, and Mumm-Ra and Lion-O are forced to team up to stop them. And of course, there are betrayals. If I was going to make Wilykit and Wilykat, their designs from this arc are definitely the ones I would have gone with. But I ended up only making Lion-O. Thought this was a much better design for him. Loved how the full beard gave him that proper mane look.

Head, upper torso, arms, and upper legs were from Hyperion. Lower torso and lower legs were from Wonder Man. Lower left arm was from Wrecker with the entire glove resculpted. Sculpted the belt, torso seams, full cape, and the boots. Head was a cast I got well over a decade ago. Sword was a base from the 2010 Thundercats line with the blade from a Valkyrie sword. Full repaint, and all done!
