Simon Belmont (Captain N: Game Master) Custom Action Figure
Hello all, this was a commissioned piece - by a new friend and kindred spirit who loves Captain N almost as much as Ryan. The both of them have been tinkering with the idea of creating all the characters. I can't remember this chartoon for the life of me so, I hope the figure does the character some justice. The base figure is Savage Dragon, with hair, jacket & gloves sculpted. The legs and feet belong to someone else, and the backpack was from the fodder bin. Please wait... |

I've loved Captain N since I was a kid and have pretty much bought up everything in existence related to it. So after having two giant boxes full of animation cels, a couple full episodes worth of story boards, stacks of conceptual artwork for backgrounds and characters, concept designs, autographs from the cast members, flyers, every article in a magazine I could find, even the kellog's cereal captain n stickers, I even worked with Brian Ward of "Shout Factory" on the Captain N DVD. I still wasn't satisfied and thanks to holly and ryan I'm able to own yet another item that nobody has and it is displayed as one of my top prized figures.
I went ahead and added goggles, extra hair in front, built more of a chin, added backpack straps, belt, pouch, whip holster, whip, and stand, but loved their style and tried to stay true to it. This is, after all, my favorite character from my favorite cartoon, that happens to be my all time favorite obsession.
I definately want to do a series of Captain N figures. I already have a Captain N and Megaman nearly done and I'm going to try to use the tricks of the trade I've learned at the effects studio and try to get an giant sized Mama Brain done with latex and other materials. Nonetheless I want a version of each character done by you guys do to your distinct style. Plus, I can't get enough Captain N stuff!
You guys rock and thanks again for the awesome figure you gave me to work with. Please keep in touch and I want to get something new started soon!
