Regular show was one of several animated shows I fell in love with as an adult. I love animation, and I really enjoy making figures from the shows I love, that may not ever be made.
Skips is a great character. He’s portrayed as a nigh-immortal yeti, who regularly hands out good wisdom, and is not afraid of getting his hands dirty. AND he’s voiced by mark hamill. These are a few of my favorite things. So, I needed to make him.
His formula is a fun one:
Torso: Hasbro meowscles
Arms: marvel legends baf caliban
Hands: jazwares Fortnite
Legs: toybiz sabertooth (with the trench coat)
Feet: vtoys zero body
Head: a random Sasquatch figure, heavily reworked.
As you can see from the final image, he was heavily sculpted with green stuff putty, including fully resculpting the head. These parts seem like they should never go together, but they made the proportions on him look perfect! I plan to dive into a few more characters from this show in the future. But for now: SKIPS!
