I had some extra pieces and parts laying around and decided to do something with them. The end result was a 1:32 scale Trench Diorama. Based loosely on historical Trench fighting, the base was a a picture frame with the ground being foam built on it and then covered in wood filler to look more like dirt. The board floor were popsicle sticks cut to size. Once everything was on, it was all repainted, given foilage and then weathered. The soldiers were once from one of those traditional green and tan army men packs, their bases cut off and then repainted, glued and weathered. They measure about 2 inches in height. Finally, the random debris in the Trench were just assorted fodder. A neat little idea, I'm happy with the turnout. ![]() |
