Born from a night of insomnia, this warrior took work and so far is the most complex I've ever done.
I modified legs and arms to have a correct posture, enough of walking bent over, I could have chosen to use another body but I wanted to keep the dimensions more or less to scale.
The mortifying expression was another thing that bothered me a lot. I based myself on Rep Been's sculpt and gave it a slightly more menacing look (I think).
To be a Mandalorian, you have to have a helmet. Being a Gungan, things become difficult. So I decided to sculpt with Milliput a helmet with a crest (why not?) obviously leaving room for the eyes.
The skin tone also left a lot to be desired, so I gave it an extreme overall and I think it was much better.
The armor comes from a Jango Fett figure (who literally lost his head) and has undergone a few alterations here and there.
The thermal detonator comes from a Leia Boushh Disguise and the blasters came from some GI Joes ding-ling that I found at the fair.
The rifle is the epitome of the kitbash concept, the barrel is the tube of a WD-40 spray can, and the leather are small pieces of heat-shrinkable sleeve. The pants were custom-made from a t-shirt that I've been wearing on the back of the day. All painted and repainted with Vallejo Gamecolor.
The base figure is, of course, a Jar Jar Binks, Episode 1, 1999.
