I enjoyed the 2024 hellboy films adaptation of the Crooked Man, but wanted to revisit the uncanny and upsetting qualities of Corben's original art. Remembering this Mezco Goon release, I found my excuse to delve back into the comic! The head and ruffles are my sculpt, and he fits perfect with the Mezco Comic Hellboy. I sculpted some pennies into his hand, thinking the film's exchange rate was more ironic and hellish, more characteristic of the devil's compensation than the gold coins in the comic.
