About the jeep:

This is a fusion project, bringing together the Cobra vehicles from the Marvel’s GI Joe #1 and the GI Joe Electric Trucking set. Both featured generic tanks and jeep-styled vehicles.

Design:

To modernize the jeep, it’s Chap Mei Jeep-styled vehicle, sitting a bit higher than an old Willies Jeep, plus the roll cage system. Some ARAH backpacks are added to the side on what had been a panel board. The rocket system, one of the many horrible ROC launchers, looks good with a vehicle instead of a figure.

Colors & Paints:

Based on the Electric Trucking set. Deep Cobra blue, with a medium blue wash to help the details pop just a bit.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The backpacks are resin casts, glued to the side of the rollcage.
