Cobra Command

Character:

When making my upcoming Cobra Space Shuttle, loosely based on the Sunbow episode “The Wrong Stuff”, I decided to make a crew for it. Sure, there were existing Cobra space troops, but I wanted unique figures for the shuttle.

Design/Colors & Paint:

Is it possible to take the Xamot chest/back and split it diagonally with colors to make an astronaut uniform? Yes, especially if you’re going to for something that lines up with the Sunbow aesthetic. None of the parts here scream “space suit”, but the red/grey/blue colors look outlandish enough to pull it off.

Special thanks to Rob and Ford of hisstank, who suggested adding Cobra logos. Their ideas spruced up the figures considerably.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The heads are cast. The shoulders, elbows, and thigh screw insets are smooth with epoxy.
