Had it in mind to make an AOA Wild Child since the AOA Sabretooth was released. Been looking for a suitable base figure for a while now. Arrived at using the Marvel Select Iron Spider-Man as although most Marvel Legends figures are poseable enough for a crouched pose many just don't look natural doing so. The MS Iron Spidey looks so natural crouching. Taking apart a Dr. Who Werewolf figure for another custom I decided to use the hands and feet of that figure. Expect to get some criticism as they are over-sized for the base figure but I felt they lent to to the characters feral-morphic nature and in my mind conjured the transformation scene from "The American Werewolf In London" which seemed sit well with this character. The lower arms were replaced with ML Quicksilver ones so that the hands could rotate all the way around. The head is from a Spider-Man Origins Demogoblin (cutting away the pokey-out tongue). The lower part of the hair was cut from an X-23 and apoxie sculpt used to blend that with the head. The "dog-collar" was also sculpted with apoxie sculpt and I got the chain from a craft store. Painted with Citadel paints.

Also got a new camera for Xmas and I think the figure really benefits from a vastly superior macro function. In the past I felt a couple of my figures have been spoiled by poor picture taking with my old cruddy camera not capturing all the detail.

I know what you mean, the released Sabes was hella lame incomparison. A quick hair and eye fix does wonders although contemplated a Savage Dragon mod into Victor too. If you ever get round to it dude, you should so go for it

Yep - Joe Mad rules!
Had intended to take some pics with the AOA Sabretooth but I'm not meaning to be big-headed but that figure just looked lame next to my custom. Would have to at least repaint the figure so the two blend together. Crossed my mind to do a more "hulkier" Joe Mad version AOA Sabretooth but have enough figures to work on right now and was too lazy top add to that workload.
I still have the pre-Legends pack-in AOA Wild Child - kinda wish I had taken pictures with that figure and my custom side-by-side just to create a comparison.

Jesus H, you like scaring the crud out of us with your latest demons and monsters streak dude! I like the oversized limbs, very Joe Mad and that DemoGoblin works a treat. Have you got any shots with Vic?

I read your comments first before actually looking at the pics and I have to say I was surprised to say the least. It came out better than I expected. It gives a new/scary take on Wild Child. From the earlier versions put out by the toy manufacturers, I expected another cute and cuddly figure. You did not make Wild Child cute and cuddly at all. Great job.

Your work is wonderful, and the new camera give more justice to the work you have done. Great paint job... keep them work coming.
