Hobgoblin – not to be confused with the Hobgoblin from the Spiderman comics is from a race a shapeshifters. This changeling has the ability to alter his appearance into any human or non-human form. He is an important member of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard.

The figure started out as an X-men Gambit and with the removal of the waistband and upper chest band, the shapeshifting was already underway. Kept the boots as they provided some interest to the figure. Sculpted new chest, waist, shoulder flaps and head. Originally was going to use a cut up paperclip with some sculpt for the antennas but they wouldn’t stay, so copied fastfreddie’s approach in using pushpins. Painted head to toe, added the jewels (as did fastfreddie) around the neck and sealed in matte finish.
