January 1st, 1987. Marvel Comics Transformers #24 "Afterdeath!". Optimus Prime dies during combat against Megatron in a videogame world and is stored on a diskette in possession of Ethan Zachary. However this isn't the only copy. A copy finds its way into the hands of Tony Stark and utilizing the memories inside his Ironman armor evolves using Cybertronian tech and in return the prototype becomes the body for Ferrous (Iron) Prime. He is a much darker version of the original having been corrupted at some point by an ancient virus within his programming. He is more of an anti-hero than the original and has no problems with killing and works as a bounty hunter at times.
The body is a MGS 2 Solidus with a modified ironman head I was using for something else until this point. The visor is from an X-men movie Cyclops and the earpieces from the TF Classic Jetfire. The pistol is from a gundam figure while the rifle is from a Transformer and the ammo belt from a weapon set. I wanted to pose him in a slightly John Woo style pose while firing so I angled him and used painted tooth picks for the energy blasts. I need to add weight to the stand or it'll fall over thus the coffee container.
