Sasuke Uchiha, one of the last two remaining members of the famed Uchiha clan from the manga Naruto.

Being a Naruto fan, it sounded good when a line of Naruto figures was planned to be released. The first wave of figures were just basic characters that came with some assortment of weapons, the second wave was more of a combo pack featuring the character along with some feature, such has a spinning base and target or some "ninjutsu" from the series. In both waves though, some figures were kept the exact same but with some more weapons, namely being Sasuke and Naruto. As with most series, constant repeats of figures with almost no adjustments or modifications is boring, especially since I was hoping to see a Sasuke in his black costume variant. When this didnt happen I figured I would just make my own.

Overall pretty much just a repaint figure, there is some sculpting though. The whole costume minus the weapons pack on his right leg was repainted a flat black and the clan symbol on his back was carefully repainted with black through the middle instead of blue. The bandages on his legs were originally all white so to stick with the black costume I painted every other bandage black.

The arms were the only area were sculpting occurred. The Sasuke figure comes with his arm warmer things on his arms while the black costume is supposed to have him with an uncovered right arm while the left is completely bandaged with a black belt around the bandages. Since I didn't feel like sanding down the arm warmers, they became the bandages and now both arms have them. Over my new "bandages" I sculpted a belt and painted it black to resemble his real costume.

A real simple figure that was quick to do but adds to the series.
