I have not found any good magneto figures so here is my Magneto. I took the dc universe Ares with the trojan head spartan warrior look, cut that off sanded down the helmet, apoxie sculpt the magneto armor/gear on him, sculped a new helmet, gave his head the magneto dome paintjob. At first I didn't like the Ares figure, started thinking about magneto and I saw him in Ares because of the helmet and figure type. Dark Magneto...

I'm glad you asked! I went through the EXACT problem your facing. Enamels=no good 4 figures. Acrylics=ditto. Citadel and Tamiya acrylics in lil' jars run 4 about $3 and should do the job!

Someone tell me what to do. I paint with Testors enamel paint. I thot testors was good. why do my figures come out so shiny?? I used acrylic in the oval tube once and it was so dry and felt rough not smooth to the touch. I've mixed them and it was a little better, but what is the proper thing to do or paint type to use.I've been going to Michaels for Paint.

Hey man! Its me again and this time its magneto! Ok, its a great base figure, the helmet is amazing for a hand made one (again, you are a talented sculptist.), but I think you used too much gloss. And I mean I know how you feel if its the only paint you got, so, ill pm and give you a website for the perfect paint that great customizers like Kyle robinson use. But great job.
