Just didn't feel fulfilled with the 4" version, so made this 12" figure to fit with the marvel icons. Replaced the hands from a wwe millenium man. The head was made by attaching 3 faces around a hollow tube. Sculpt work with apoxie was then done to create the drapes, complete the rest of the head and secure the faces around the hollow center. Attached a piece of sturdy plastic to the side of the head and sculpted the plastic to the base of the neck, creating the illusion of a floating head. By using a hollow tube as the center for the head also kept it light weight, less strain on the invisible neck. The figure was primed with 2 coats of metallic gold. Once the primer dried, small amounts of paint thinner was applied over certain areas so that when the yellow paint was airbrushed overtop, the areas with paint thinner would thin out the yellow, and the gold underneath would appear as muscle definition. Two clear plastic discs were cut for the eyes, illustrated over top. Working in the larger scale benefits in showing more of the details, and as a 12" figure on display, also strikes a formidable presence. Thanks for checking this out!
