Being burned alive for the crimes he committed to the children, it was only fitting to portray Freddy smoldering with fire. The flames were cut-outs from clear plastic clamshell, and painted with fire effects. Tiny slits have been cut into the figure to allow the flames to stay wedged in place and gives this version of him more of a supernatural appearance. The blades were cut from steel flat-wire, sculpted the glove around. Sculpt work was also done to widen his grimace, and re-create burn trauma around the face. Also love the coat tails that came with this base figure. It's still flexible enough to bend and makes for great chase scenes!
